Strategic Campus Resource Initiatives is a team devoted to improving UC San Diego on a daily basis. We focus on new campus initiatives that may need a champion to "push, pull and drag" an issue or project along so it does not sink or get mired in bureaucratic intricacies (we promise not to be bureaucrats!).
Strategic Campus Resource Initiatives includes two closely aligned offices: Community Planning and Physical Planning. We are responsible for long range planning of land use, siting of facilities, environmental reviews and reports, and communication with the community (a two-way process) as we grow in pursuit of new directions in education, research and healthcare.
